. My first full skein of yarn.
 Yay~ It's about 70 yards, I think. I started it back around Christmas and finished towards the end of January. While I was plying it, it attempted to eat my thumb, I tried to not let implode, but I failed, and thus it ended up being easier to work with. xD I was given the impression that letting the center in on itself would be really bad. The entire time I was trying to ply it I kept thinking of ramen, thus the name. Spun and Plied on a Louet spindle, I think it was ~2 ounces, one of the ones with the sheep on it. I have no idea what type of fiber this is beyond 'wool', but I think I used about 2 ounces of it. I'll hopefully put up better pictures eventually. For now, this is what you get. |
